November Films at Scotch Plains Public Library

November’s “Friday Films” will feature early roles for today’s stars. Each film will begin at NOON.

Friday, November 6: Driving Miss Daisy (PG, 100 min)
Set in Atlanta in the 1950’s, a textile factory owner insists on hiring an ever-patient chauffeur (Morgan Freeman) for his aging head-strong mother. The Jewish woman and her African American driver eventually build a relationship over many years.

Friday, November 13: Good Will Hunting (R, 127 min)
A young working-class genius (Matt Damon) is hauled back from the brink of self-destruction by a gifted counselor.

Friday, November 20: Mystic Pizza (R, 102 min)
Three young pizza parlor waitresses in Mystic, Connecticut spend a special summer discovering romance. This film features a young Julia Roberts!
