Man Shot Dead While Sitting On Back Porch In Plainfield: Police
A $10,000 reward is being offered for information leading to an arrest and indictment in this case.

Plainfield, NJ - One man is dead following a shooting in Plainfield on Thursday night, acting Union County Prosecutor Grace H. Park announced Friday.
Frank Drayton, 60, of Plainfield was sitting on his back porch on West Fourth Street when a person armed with a gun approached him and demanded money around midnight, according to authorities.
After words were exchanged, the suspect shot Drayton and ran away on foot, according to the police report.

He was was pronounced dead shortly after.
