Dr. Diana Mitchell, Superintendent of Schools, said, “All hands are on deck to present the best plan possible for the virtual opening of schools. Our main goal is to keep our students, staff and our families safe. Having the ability to go virtual is something we are prepared to implement immediately.

“Additionally, our district has been a 1:1 District for over five years. Almost all our 8,200 students have devices and WiFi’s provided by the District for remote learning. We are confident the education of our students will continue and we want to assure parents the effective teaching and learning is our priority.”
