Rash Of Car Thefts Prompts Scotch Plains Police To Warn Residents
"Please take every precaution to safeguard your belongings, lock your doors and do not leave your keys in the vehicle," police said.
SCOTCH PLAINS, NJ — Scotch Plains Police are warning residents to be on alert after a rash of thefts from vehicles and stolen vehicles were recently reported.
The areas the vehicles were targeted include Princeton Avenue, New York Avenue, Jersey Avenue, Lyde Place, Gales Court, and Park View Drive.
"Please take every precaution to safeguard your belongings, lock your doors and do not leave your keys in the vehicle," police said.

If you see any suspicious activities or individuals, call the Scotch Plains Police Department, 908-322-7100 ext. 0 for dispatch.
