Rash Of Thefts From Cars Reported Over Weekend In Scotch Plains
Scotch Plains Police are warning residents to be on alert after several cars were targeted in thefts this past weekend.
SCOTCH PLAINS, NJ — Scotch Plains Police are warning residents to be on alert after several cars were targeted in thefts this past weekend.
The thefts occurred to cars in the areas of Jersey Avenue, Maple Hill Road and Meadowview Drive, Scotch Plains Police announced on Monday.
"Please take every precaution to safeguard your belongings, lock your doors and do not leave your keys in the vehicle," police said.

If you see any suspicious activities or individuals, call the Scotch Plains Police Department, 908-322-7100 x0 for dispatch.
Residents who have any further information or possibly any video footage that may help the police are asked to use the Ring Doorbell Neighborhood Alert system or call Det. Lt. Sellinger at 908-322-7100 ext. 117 to report it.
