Road Rage Incident Leads To Arrest For Weapons, Threats
Multiple drug and warrant arrests were also made last week in Scotch Plains, according to the police blotter.

SCOTCH PLAINS, NJ — A road rage incident in Scotch Plains leads to an arrest and charges last week, police report.
On April 24 Daniel M. Rella, 56, of Linden was arrested and charged with terroristic threats, possession of a weapon and possession of a weapon for unlawful purpose during a road rage investigation conducted by Sgt. Brian Hayeck and Patrolman Chris Aversa, police report.
He was transported to headquarters and processed.

On April 25: Elijah Edwards, 20, of Plainfield was arrested on an outstanding warrant out of Union during a motor vehicle stop conducted by Patrolman Joe Mirabile. He was transported to headquarters and processed.

On April 26: Anthony D. Fellin, 20, of North Plainfield was arrested on an outstanding warrant out of Scotch Plains by Patrolman Mike Smolinski. He was processed and released.
On April 26: Albert Blair III, 40, of Plainfield was arrested on an outstanding warrant out of Roselle during a motor vehicle stop conducted by Patrolman Scott Leyden. He was transported to headquarters and processed.
On April 26: Raymond A. Rodriguez, 30, of Newark was arrested and charged with possession of marijuana during a motor vehicle stop conducted by Patrolman Dave Belford. He was transported to headquarters and
processed.
On April 27: Chelsey M. Slade, 27, of North Plainfield was arrested and charged with unlawful possession
of a weapon, providing false information to law enforcement and possession of marijuana during a motor
vehicle stop conducted by Patrolman Gerard Rites. She was transported to headquarters for processing where it was determined she also had active warrants out of Plainfield and South Plainfield.
On April 28: A resident on Canterbury Drive reported someone gained access to her debit card account and made several unauthorized purchases. This remains under investigation.
On April 29: Quandre Brown, 25, of Elizabeth was arrested on outstanding warrants out of Fanwood
and South Plainfield during a motor vehicle stop conducted by Patrolman Ted Florio. He was transported to
headquarters and processed.
