Route 22 Wawa Sells $10K Winning Lottery Ticket

NORTH PLAINFIELD, NJ — A Wawa on Route 22 sold one of two tickets that won a $10,000 lottery prize.

Two New Jersey players matched four of the five white balls and the Gold Mega Ball drawn from the Mega Million lottery Tuesday drawing winning the $10,000 third-tier prize.

Those tickets were sold at the following locations:

  • Somerset County: Wawa #8397, 855 Route 22, North Plainfield
  • Morris County: 7-Eleven #11465, 294 Route 206, Flanders

One New York ticket also matched all five of the five white balls and the Gold Mega Ball drawn winning the $432 million Mega Millions jackpot. The estimated cash value was $315 million. The jackpot is the 12th largest jackpot win in Mega Millions history.

The winning numbers for the Tuesday drawing were: 36, 41, 45, 51, and 56. The Gold Mega Ball was 13, and the Megaplier Multiplier was 03.

The jackpot resets to $20 million for the next drawing on Friday at 11 p.m. Drawings are held on Tuesdays and Fridays.
