Santa To Wear Mask, No Sitting On Lap At Mills At Jersey Gardens

As part of the Simon Santa Photo Experience, Santa and his helpers will be wearing masks and keep a distance of 6 feet away.

ELIZABETH, NJ — The big man himself, Santa Claus, is returning to the Mills at Jersey Gardens mall, but in a very different way than in years past due to the coronavirus pandemic.

As part of the Simon Santa Photo Experience, Santa and his helpers will be wearing masks and keep a distance of 6 feet away unless a barrier is put up.

Santa Claus will be required to complete a temperature check, prior to starting his scheduled shift. And in between shifts Santa's suit is regularly sprayed with disinfectant, a Lysol spray or similar product, according to Cherry Hill Programs, which is organizing the visit.
