Scholarship applications are available from the F-SP College Club

The College Club of Fanwood-Scotch Plains 2020-2021 scholarship application forms can be obtained from the SPFHS Counseling Office or at htpp:/www.spfk12.org or www.fspcollegeclub.org. Scholarships are awarded annually to young women who are 10 high school seniors or 20 college students, and who plan to pursue a Baccalaureate Degree at a four year college. Scholarships totaling $37,000.00 were awarded for the academic year 2019-2929 to 11 students, six high school seniors of the Class of 2019 and five who were attending college.

To be eligible for scholarships, high school applications must be residents of Fanwood or Scotch Plains. College applicants must be local residents of Fanwood or Scotch Plains at the time they graduated high school. Scholarships are awarded based on three primary characteristics of the applicants: 10 financial need, 2) academic achievement, and 3) character of the applicant.

This will be the 84th year that female students seeking financial assistance to pursue a four-year college degree have been helped by the club's fund-raising efforts. To date the College Club has awarded approximately $667,000.00 in scholarships to approximately 540 women.
