Scotch Plains Holiday Celebration Brings Santa, Horse Rides
The fun-filled afternoon will also feature a petting zoo, Christmas tree lighting, photo booth, and more.
SCOTCH PLAINS, NJ — Oh, what fun it is to ride in a one-horse open sleigh. On Sunday, Scotch Plains residents will have a chance to experience that, to a certain extent, with a holiday celebration on the Augustine Village Green.
The celebration, which is sponsored by the Scotch Plains Business and Professional Association, will feature horse-drawn carriage rides and a petting zoo, hot chocolate, face painting, a canned food drive, a photo booth, and, most important of all, a visit from Santa and a Christmas tree lighting.
The celebration will start at 2 p.m., and participants will be able to take photos with Santa starting at 3. The tree lighting will begin at 5.
