Scotch Plains Library Announces Memoir Writing Series

Join teacher & writer Edie Scher for a series of memoir writing workshops at the Scotch Plains Library; the opening session will be on 3/27.

Join local teacher and writer Edie Scher for a series of memoir writing workshops. Capture the memories you want to leave as a legacy for your family. Workshops will guide you through the process of writing, editing, and compiling your chapters in a supportive environment.

This group will meet on select Wednesdays from 1pm to 2:30pm. Scheduled dates are: March 27, April 10, May 8 & 22, June 5 & 19, and July 10 & 24. Registration is required, and space is limited. Priority will be given to those who can commit to most of the sessions.

Edie Scher is a writer and teacher of English, whose credits include national publications: The New York Times, Country Living Magazine, Cat Fancy Magazine, Runners World, Weight Watchers Magazine, McGraw Hill Literature Anthology, Cup of Comfort, (first prize story winner) Chicken Soup for the Soul, (four editions) and other Hearst Publications.
