Scotch Plains Local Charged With Shoplifting In Clark
Two vehicles parked in the Clark were also reportedly burglarized on Saturday, police report.

CLARK, NJ — A Scotch Plains local was charged with shoplifting recently in Clark.
On Jan. 10 at 12:52 p.m.: Police arrested Laura Styler, 35, of Scotch Plains for shoplifting merchandise valued at $33.96 from the Target Department Store at 45 Central Ave. She was subsequently released on her own recognizance pending a court date. Police Office Paul Sosnowski was the arresting officer.

On Jan. 9 at 4:56 p.m.: In the vicinity of St. Georges Avenue in Linden, police arrested Earl Downey, 35, of East Orange for resisting arrest, eluding and driving with a suspended license. He was subsequently transported to the Union County Jail. Police Officer Ted McKeown was the arresting officer.
On Jan. 10 at 12:49 a.m.: In the vicinity of Central Avenue, police arrested Eric Moses, 54, of West Valley City, Utah for receiving stolen property. He was subsequently released pending a court date. Police Officer Michael DeAngelo was the arresting officer.

On Jan. 10 at 9:11 p.m.: Police took a report of a theft of items from a locker at L.A. Fitness at 1255 Raritan Rd. and subsequent burglary to a motor vehicle at the same location. The incident is under investigation. Police Officer Michael Hernandez was the investigating officer.
On Jan. 11 at 11 a.m.: Police took a report of a theft of items from a patron of L.A. Fitness at 1255 Raritan Rd. and subsequent burglary to a motor vehicle at the same location. The incident is under investigation. Police Officer Paul Sosnowski was the investigating officer.
On Jan. 12 at 9:03 a.m.: Police took a report of a burglary to an unsecured vehicle that was parked at a residence on Orchard Terrace. The incident is under investigation. Police Officer Sergio Henriques was the investigating officer.
