Scotch Plains Local Sworn In As New Fanwood Police Officer

Tyler Flowers, 27, is a resident of Scotch Plains and previously was a police officer in Tewksbury.

FANWOOD, NJ — A new police officer has joined the ranks of the Fanwood department. Officer Tyler Flowers was officially sworn in during the borough's Sept. 16 meeting.

Flowers was hired on Sept. 2.

Sworn in by Fanwood Mayor Colleen Mahr, Flowers was surrounded by his family, and had his grandfather hold the bible during the ceremony.
