Scotch Plains Man Arrested 3 Times For Trespassing At Quick Chek

A Scotch Plains man, who is a repeat offender, ​has been arrested for the third time for trespassing at Quick Chek, police report.

SCOTCH PLAINS, NJ — A Scotch Plains man, who is a repeat offender, has been arrested for the third time for trespassing at Quick Chek.

On April 24 Samuel Hanciles, 29, of Scotch Plains was arrested and charged with defiant trespassing and resisting arrest stemming from an incident reported at the Quick Chek located at 1928 Westfield Ave. in Scotch Plains, police report.

Sgt. Brian Hayeck and Patrolman Joe Mirabile located Hanciles walking on Mountain Avenue and attempted an arrest which Hanciles resisted, police report.

He was transported to headquarters for processing and found to have two open warrants out of Scotch Plains.

Hanciles was also previously arrested and charged with trespassing at the same Quick Chek on Feb. 22 and again on Feb. 25, according to Scotch Plains Police.
