Scotch Plains Man Arrested For DUI
Fraud, car burglary, theft, weapon and drug possession and warrant arrests were also reported, according to the police blotter.

SCOTCH PLAINS, NJ — A Scotch Plains man was arrested for DUI recently in the township, according to the police blotter.
On April 19, Christopher C. Baldwin, 60, of Scotch Plains was arrested and charged with driving under the influence during a motor vehicle stop conducted by Patrolman Scott Leyden, police reported.
He was transported to headquarters and processed.

On April 3: Keyenza Seawright, 38, of New Brunswick was arrested on an outstanding warrant out of Scotch Plains. Arrested by Patrolman Ted Florio.

On April 4: A resident on Juniper Lane reported the theft of his front license plate from his vehicle. The theft occurred sometime between April 1 and 3.
On April 5: A resident of Glenside Avenue reported a fraud. Someone opened several credit cards in the victim’s name. This is under investigation.
On April 6: Edward Collins, 49, of East Orange was arrested and charged with possession of prohibited weapons and possession of cocaine during a motor vehicle stop conducted by Sgt. Dave Lavery. He was transported to headquarters and processed.
On April 6: Michael C. Grammenos, 28, of Mountainside was arrested on an outstanding warrant out of Scotch Plains during a motor vehicle stop conducted by Patrolman Zack VonLangen. He was transported to headquarters and processed.
On April 6: Vonzo A. Daniels, 61, of Plainfield was arrested and charged with a disorderly person’s offense. While on patrol, Patrolman Zack VonLangen observed Daniels urinating on Park Avenue. He was transported to headquarters and processed.
On April 6: Shivell R. Brown, 39, of Hillside was arrested on outstanding warrants out of East Orange during a motor vehicle stop conducted by Officer Melissa Rivera. He was transported to headquarters and processed.
On April 5: Hassan A. Laban, 40, of Plainfield was arrested on an outstanding warrant out of Westfield during a motor vehicle stop conducted by Patrolman Chris Ostrowski. He was transported to headquarters and processed.
On April 19: A resident on Ramapo Way reported a fraud. Victim states someone gained access to their credit card information and made several purchases. This is under investigation.
On April 20: A resident in the 2200 block of Coles Ave. reported the theft of a laptop from his vehicle during the overnight hours. This is under investigation.
