Scotch Plains Man Charged With DUI On New Year's Eve
An Essex Road resident also reported someone broke the back window of their home last week.
SCOTCH PLAINS, NJ — Scotch Plains Police report making multiple arrests including a township man for driving under the influence.
On Dec. 31: Dennis J. Moore, 50, of Scotch Plains was arrested for driving under the influence during a motor vehicle stop conducted by Patrolman Mike Baltazar. Moore was transported to headquarters and processed.

On Dec. 31: Melissa Joseph, 28, of Bridgewater was arrested on active warrants out of Raritan
Borough during a motor vehicle stop conducted by Patrolman Kyle Savoia. Joseph was transported to headquarters and processed.
On Jan. 1: A resident on Fenimore Drive reported damage to a vehicle parked in front of their home. The rear window was smashed out. This remains under investigation.

On Jan. 2: Damage was reported to construction equipment left on property on Fenimore Drive. This remains under investigation.
On Jan. 2: A resident on Essex Road reported a broken rear window on the home. This remains under investigation.
On Jan. 2: A resident on Hetfield Avenue reported a fraud. Someone opened credit accounts in the victim’s name. This remains under investigation.
On Jan. 3: Mark A. Hollingsworth, 43, of Anchorage, Alaska was arrested on an active warrant out of the New York Department of Corrections during a suspicious person’s investigation conducted by Patrolman Chris Ostrowski and Patrolman Brian Reganthal. Hollingsworth was transported to headquarters and processed.
On Jan. 5: Eric C. Favor, 28, of Hillside was arrested on an active warrant out of Scotch Plains.

On Jan. 5: Kyshinna M. Carmichael, 19, of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania was arrested for possession of marijuana and unlawful possession of weapons. Also arrested was Sakeenah B. Abdul-Malik, 18, of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania for possession of marijuana. Both arrests were the result of a motor vehicle stop conducted by Patrolman Kyle Savoia. Both were transported to headquarters and processed.
On Jan. 6: Kayonne C. Russell, 27, of Plainfield was arrested on active warrants out of Berkeley
Heights during a motor vehicle stop conducted by Patrolman Gerard Rites and Patrolman Matt Lavery. Russell was transported to headquarters and processed.
On Jan. 6: A resident on Acacia Road reported fraudulent activity on a credit card account. This remains under investigation.
