Scotch Plains Man Hospitalized With Burns To Arms, Face
The basement fire was brought under control by the Scotch Plains Fire Department last week.

SCOTCH PLAINS, NJ — A Scotch Plains resident was hospitalized following a fire at their home on Stout Avenue, police report.
On Sept. 11, when police and fire officials arrived at the home they found the residents of the home in the drive way and a heavy smoke condition, Scotch Plains Police report.
The Scotch Plains Fire Department brought the fire in the basement under control. A 51-year-old resident was transported to the hospital for smoke inhalation and burns to his arms and face, police report.
