Scotch Plains Public Library Announces March Book Club Options

Join one of the Scotch Plains Public Library’s many book clubs.
On Monday, March 4 at 10 am, the library will host Bagels & Books, where book-lovers share their recent reading experiences with other bibliophiles and pick up suggestions for future reading. Registration is required.
The library’s longstanding Evening and Afternoon Book Clubs will meet on March 18 and March 19 respectively.

On Monday, March 18 at 7 pm, the Evening Book Club will discuss The Orchid Thief by Susan Orlean. This story follows plant dealer John Laroche in his unsuccessful attempt to steal, clone, and sell rare orchids from a South Florida swamp, and describes the world of Florida's orchid collectors and smugglers as they execute plant crimes.
On Tuesday, March 19 at 1 pm, the Afternoon Book Club will discuss To Kill a Mockingbird by Harper Lee, which was selected as the #1 book in The Great American Read.
