Scotch Plains Public Library January Exhibit

Scotch Plains Public Library is proud to present our exhibit for the month of January: Beyond Riverdale. This is a collection of licensed Archie merchandise that reflects the Archie Comics brand throughout the decades, courtesy of Archie Comics Co-CEO Nancy Silberkleit. The collection includes posters, figurines, and other rare items from the popular series that inspired the hit show Riverdale. The exhibit is only the first part of our Beyond Riverdale event at SPPL. We’ll also be hosting a comic drawing contest from April 1st to the 14th, and on April 14th Nancy Silberkleit will come to do a talk at the library as a great wrap up to National Library Week!

Beginning the week of January 8th, the library is honored to host duCret Presents, an exhibit of work donated to the duCret School of Art in Plainfield, by former students. The works include paintings, pastels, charcoal drawings and screen prints. Both exhibitions will run through the end of January.
