Service League Thrift Shop Open for Saturday Only Sidewalk Sales

The Board of Directors of the Fanwood-Scotch Plains Service League has voted to hold Saturday Only Sidewalk Sales at the Thrift Shop, 1741 East 2nd St., Scotch Plains. The sales will start Saturday, June 20, from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm, weather permitting. Tables will be set up offering as much merchandise as can be accommodated. Books, household items, domestics, men's and women's clothing, handbags, and a limited amount of children's clothing will be available. Some jewelry children's games and toys will also be available. Tables will be set up in the driveway off Willow Avenue.

Because of the shop's limited space, it does not meet NJ regulations for "social distancing" and the store will not be open. Shop volunteers will do their best to provide a positive shopping experience. Dressing rooms will not be available. Please do not ask volunteers to look for items inside the store. All store rules will be in effect. Cash only, preferably small denominations, no refunds, no holding of items. Please respect the limited space. If possible, limit the number of shoppers and children with you. The staff would appreciate people wearing masks.

For the safety and well being of our shoppers and staff, at this time, we will not be able to accept donations.

The sales will be Saturday only. The shop and premises is closed during the week.
