SPF Arts Association Meeting & Film Screening at ScotLib

Attention all artists!

Learn about the Scotch Plains-Fanwood Arts Association at their public meeting on Sunday, November 1 at 12:30pm at the Scotch Plains Public Library. Meet this group of fine artists, crafters, photographers, and sculptors who love sharing their talents. Then enjoy a screening and discussion of the film Frida (Rated R, 118 minutes).

Frida was originally released as a motion picture in 2002. The film tells the story of artist Frida Kahlo who channeled the pain of a crippling injury and her tempestuous marriage to Diego Rivera into her work.

The Scotch Plains Fanwood Arts Association’s mission is to promote and foster an appreciation of the arts and related cultural activities, and to provide an organization for local artist to meet and share their talents while providing an atmosphere of collaboration and empowerment.
