Summer Camp registration opens 9:00am on Tuesday, November 12

Daylight savings time, piles of leaves on the ground, and pumpkin spice everywhere means it’s time to LEAP INTO SUMMER FUN!

Fall means it’s time to get ready for Summer Camp Registration here at the Fanwood-Scotch Plains YMCA. Summer Camp registration opens 9:00am on Tuesday, November 12.

You can access our Summer Camp Brochure here. Or, come into the Welcome Center at the Fanwood-Scotch Plains YMCA for a printed copy.

This summer, we will offer:

• Preschool camps for kids ages 2.5-5
• Full-day camps for grades K-3
• Excursion camps for grades 4-6 and 7-9
• A counselor-in-training program for 9th and 10th graders
• Half-day and full-day enrichment programs in gymnastics, cooking, sports, swimming, art, Ninja and STEM (half-day enrichment programs can be combined to make a full day.)

Our camp team provides your child with a fun and enriching experience in a safe, supportive environment.

Summer Day Camp and Summer Enrichment participants must have an active membership to participate in summer programs. If you are not currently a member, you can join now so you are ready to register by November 12.

We are offering two membership options for those who want to register for summer camp or summer enrichments.

Summer Camp/Enrichment Membership: You can register for Summer Camp and Summer Enrichment programs with a Summer Camp/Enrichment Membership. This membership is $80 per child and is due at the time of registration. The summer camp/enrichment membership only allows participation in summer camp or summer enrichment programs and will automatically end on August 30th. You can sign up for a Summer Camp/Enrichment membership online at fspymca.org/membership/join-the-y. Click on the button “Join the Y today” and choose “Summer Camp/Enrichment Membership” for 1, 2 or 3 children. The summer camp/ enrichment membership is non-refundable.

Youth, Teen or Family Membership: If you would like to participate in other FSPY programs during the year you can take out a family, youth or teen membership online at fspymca.org/membership/join-the-y or in person. You will be able to change to a Summer Camp/Enrichment membership at any time and pay the $80 summer camp/enrichment membership fee, which only allows participation in summer camp or enrichment programs through August 30.

Did you have two separate youth accounts last year? We now have the option for your children to be active on the same account and make the registration process easier. Please email Kristine Keating to combine your inactive accounts prior to taking out a membership. If you already have two active youth accounts, you can complete the online youth change form to merge your accounts.

There are two ways to register for Summer Camp and Summer Enrichment programs beginning Tuesday, November 12:

Online Registration: When you register for summer day camp or enrichment programs online, you will be prompted to complete an online questionnaire and waivers for each summer camp/enrichment participant. The information is required to complete the registration process. Register online at fspymca.org/register under "Daxko Program Registration."

In-person Registration: When you register for summer day camp or enrichment programs in person, you will be asked to complete a membership form (if you are not already an active member), a camp registration form, health history form, waivers and registration checklist. These forms are available online (at the bottom of the page)

and will be available at the Welcome Center and must be completed prior to registering.
