Tea And Sandwiches Await Scotch Plains Seniors At Shady Rest June 17

SCOTCH PLAINS, NJ — Scotch Plains seniors have until Friday to register for a free Spring Tea Party at the historic Shady Rest Country Club on Wednesday, June 17.

Hosted by the township's Senior Advisory Committee with Scotch Plains Parks and Recreation, the event runs from 10 a.m. to noon at 820 Jerusalem Road, with doors opening at 9:45 a.m. Attendees can enjoy an assortment of teas and light sandwiches.

The event is free for Scotch Plains seniors ages 55 and older, but registration is required at register.capturepoint.com/scotchplains. Registration closes Friday, June 12 — or earlier if the event reaches maximum capacity, as space is limited.
