Teen PoetFest at Scotch Plains Public Library

Celebrate National Poetry Month with activities and crafts!

Commemorate National Poetry Month at ScotLib’s PoetFest on Monday, April 27 at 3:30 pm! Join librarians and friends outside to read poems and write them in chalk on the library’s sidewalk. Then move inside to make Blackout Poetry and enjoy a snack. You’ll also learn how you can participate in our Book Spine Poem Contest! Don’t forget to check out a poetry book on your way out!

This program is free and open to all interested participants in grades 6-12. Attendees are encouraged to register through the library’s website: http://www.scotlib.org or by phone: 908-322-5007, x.204 or e-mail library@scotlib.org.

The Scotch Plains Library is located at 1927 Bartle Avenue, one block from Park Avenue in the center of town.
