Try the Fanwood-Scotch Plains Y from January 1-7, 2024

Community members can participate in group exercise classes, lap swimming, family swim, open gym, and more

The Fanwood-Scotch Plains YMCA will host Try the Y Week from January 1-7, 2024. Community members are invited to try the Y throughout the week and participate in a variety of programs.

During Try the Y Week, participants will have free access to group exercise classes, lap swimming, open swim, family swim, and open gym. Community members, ages 14 and older, can also use the Y’s newly re-opened, state-of-the-art Wellness Center, which features an expanded selection of cardio machines, free weights and strength training equipment.

Now is a great time to join the Fanwood-Scotch Plains YMCA. We are waiving the Joiner’s Fee – a savings up to $100 – through January 31, 2024. Try the Y week is free for community members ages 18 and over, or those ages 17 and under who are accompanied by a parent/guardian. Individuals 18 and over must show a driver’s license or government-issued photo ID and sign a guest waiver.
