TJ: Absolutely. Especially considering I was up there with six other equally deserving guys, it is an honor to be called Mr. UC out of that very, very talented group.

UC: What do you plan to do as the 2014 Mr. UC?

TJ: I plan to represent the school and myself as the best Mr. UC I can be. I will be a head figure for Union Catholic and carry the title for the rest of my life.

UC: What was the most challenging part of the competition for you?

TJ: Definitely the talent. This was the most talented Mr. UC I have ever seen. I had to get my talent down to a tee since I was working with a projector. It was challenging and I am glad I got through it.

UC: How did you choose your talent and how much preparation did you put into it?

TJ: Preparation was about 3 days of filming around UC. I also had a lot of friends helping me come up with ideas; I saw something similar on America’s Got Talent.

UC: Where are you attending college in the fall?

TJ: I am between Boston College and Georgetown and I want to major in Marketing/Communication. I want to be a sports broadcaster like Bob Wischusen ’89.

UC: What will you miss most about UC?

TJ: My friends. You go through some of the most important years of your life with these friends. I want college to be exactly like UC! It will be tough going to college most likely without anyone else from UC.

UC: What is your advice to the Class of 2015?

TJ: Work hard and work to be the best of your ability to showcase yourself in this great environment. Senior year is not an easy year and you have to push yourself to get where you want to be for the next four years of your life and beyond. Before you know it, the time will be gone.
