Union County Kids Make Face Shields For Trinitas Staff

"Thank you for your selflessness during this very crazy time!" a thank you note read along with the donations amid the coronavirus outbreak.

ELIZABETH, NJ — A Union County mom and her two kids, ages 8 and 10, made face shields for the operating room staff at Trinitas Regional Medical Center in Elizabeth amid the coronavirus outbreak.

The Erez family consists of 8-year old Bailey Erez, 10-year old Aaron and their mom, Elena all of Elizabeth who made the shields "with love and appreciation" along with thank you notes for working on the front lines during the COVID-19 outbreak.

"We cannot express our care and concern enough for you and are keeping you in our hearts and prayers," the note read. "Thank you for your selflessness during this very crazy time!"

The Erez family are neighbors of Dr. Leon Pirak, Chairman of Anesthesia at the Medical Center.
