Warm up at the Y this Winter

The winter holiday season is always an exciting time in our community. The Fanwood-Scotch Plains YMCA wants to help strengthen our commitment to community this winter with Try the Y Week and help you reach your New Year’s fitness goals.

Community members are invited to Try the Y from December 30, 2024 to January 5, 2025 and participate in a variety of programs.

Wellness initiatives to check out at FSPY include:

• Recently renovated Wellness Center which includes treadmills, ellipticals, bikes, climb mills, recumbent stepper, arm bikes, Life Fitness strength circuit, Hammer Strength machines, Hammer Strength power racks, multiple benches and free weights
• Group exercise classes including cycle, strength training, yoga, Zumba, and more
• Aquatics including lap swim, open swim, family swim and aquatics fitness classes
• Open Gym

During Try the Y week, FSPY is also waiving the Membership Joiner’s Fee, a savings of up to $100. When two new members join at the same time, they also can qualify to save 20 percent on their first full month of membership. You can learn more about both of these opportunities at the FSPY Welcome Center.

Try the Y week is free to community members ages 18 and over and those who are 17 and under and accompanied by a parent/guardian. All guests 18 and over must sign a waiver and show a government-issued photo ID. Some exclusions and age restrictions may apply
