Wreath-Making, a Patch Debut and More

1. Patch debuted its latest interactive feature this morning: "Q&A." Ask any question you may have about where you live, what's going on or things you'd like to know and have it answered by your neighbors and our editorial staff. 2. Adults ages 18 and older are invited to make their own holiday wreaths at Trailside Nature and Science Center in Mountainside tonight. Participants will weave grasses, stems, flowers and seeds into a one-of–a-kind wreath to decorate their homes, according to a press release distributed by the Union County Parks and Recreation Advisory Board. Trailside park naturalist and master gardener Ruth Yablonsky will instruct the class on how to identify, prepare and use dried autumn plants to create the wreaths.

The class runs 7-9 p.m. in the Visitor Center at Trailside It costs $20 for Union County residents, and $25 for non-residents.All materials needed to create the wreaths are included in the fee. However, participants are asked to bring a glue gun if possible.
