YMCA hosts 26th annual First Frost Invitational Meet

The Fanwood-Scotch Plains YMCA (FSPY) hosted its 26th annual First Frost Invitational Meet on Sunday, November 13 at Raritan Valley Community Center. Over 600 swimmers representing nine swim teams throughout New Jersey participated in this single day meet.

The meet, under the leadership of Shannon Frank (Meet Director), Simon Lee (Meet Referee), Taewoo Chung (Entry Coordinator) and the support from an extensive group of volunteers, was a tremendous success. The team effort that went into the planning, coordination and execution of such a big meet was clear from the officials, concession volunteers, equipment managers, gym and locker room monitors, as well as FSPY’s own 13-and-over swimmers who provided some encouragement and excitement behind the blocks as they assisted with timing, marshalling younger swimmers and handing out heat winner duckies.

Over 80 of FSPY’s 12-and-under swimmers participated and many achieved best times at this meet. Here are the top 8 finishers in the individual events in their respective age groups and the top 3 relay teams:

6 and Under
