YMCA Summer Camp Registration Begins November 15

There may be a chill in the air, but the Fanwood-Scotch Plains YMCA is thinking warm thoughts – of a fantastic Summer Camp experience coming up in 2022. Online registration for the Y’s Summer Camps begins Monday, November 15 at 9:00am.

For the summer of 2022, the Fanwood-Scotch Plains YMCA will be offering a variety of camps for kids ages 2.5 and up. They include: Preschool Camps for ages 2.5 to 5; Traditional Camps for kids entering Kindergarten through 3rd grade; Excursion Camps for those entering grades 4 through 9, and the ever-popular half-day Specialty Camps such as Gymnastics, Art, Sports, STEAM, Splash, Theatre, Cook & Grow and more, which can be combined to make a full camp day.

“Summer Camp is a time for kids to make the most out of each day, and most importantly, just be kids! Our camps provide them with activities that build self-esteem and self-confidence, while they explore, learn and play,” said Katie Lizer, the Fanwood-Scotch Plains YMCA’s Summer Camp Director. “We are excited for the Summer of 2022 when we’re bringing back more of the camps our families know and love, while adding some new ones. It’s going to be a summer full of fun, friends and fantastic memories.”

The Fanwood-Scotch Plains YMCA’s Summer Camp program runs from June 27-August 26, 2022, and campers can sign up to participate in one, two or all nine weeks of camp.
