"Can We Talk?" An evening of conversation aimed at making America talk again. Tuesday, November 13 at 7 p.m.

November’s topic: The holidays—their wonder, worries, pressures and politics. “Can We Talk?’ approaches issues from a Secaucus point-of-view, as we explore how current trends impact us and our neighbors. Adults 18 and over are invited to join this new, open format discussion group dedicated to fostering conversation on vital issues in an open-minded, non-confrontational environment. In November, we turn our attention to the holidays, whichever you celebrate—or don’t. Do we love them or dread them? Have the tensions of American politics made dinner conversations dreadful? What about Black Friday madness? Are they still about peace and goodwill—or cash register receipts at the mall? Join us to learn how others celebrate—and cope. Light refreshments will be served.
