SECAUCUS, NJ — The Secaucus Memorial Day parade will be this Saturday, May 16.
Memorial Day is to honor all the men and women who served in our nation's military, and especially men and women killed in U.S. military service. Secaucus resident Joseph Saccente will be honored as the parade's grand marshal.
The parade will begin at 12 noon. The parade starts at Fifth Street at Enterprise Avenue (in front of Clarendon School) and then walks down Fifth to Centre Avenue. It continues down Centre, then makes a left on Humboldt Street and ends at Buchmuller Park.
At Buchmuller Park, the town will have food, music, children's entertainment and a beer garden. A very good local band, Rockwell, will perform. Rick Saltarelli, a member of the Secaucus Rotary Club, is their lead singer.
