SECAUCUS, NJ — A store employee at the Secaucus UPS Store is accused of stealing from packages at the store, in two separate incidents.
Secaucus Police were first notified at 4:30 p.m. Sunday that there had been a theft at the store. Lanissa Franklin, 37, of Jersey City was arrested at Secaucus Police headquarters later Sunday evening and charged with one count of theft [2C:20 3A].
She was then charged with a second count of theft for a separate incident that police say occurred at the UPS Store on May 21. In the first incident she is accused of taking jewelry, and in the second she is accused of stealing money from a fraudulent return.
She was issued summonses to appear in Secaucus town court for both alleged thefts, and was taken to the Hudson County Jail.
