• Port Authority Supervisor Accused of Faking Work Hours, Collecting Pay for Time Not Worked (shorenewsnetwork.com) — A Port Authority maintenance supervisor was recently arrested at the Hudson County Prosecutor’s Office facility in Secaucus after investigators alleged he falsified time sheets to collect pay for hours not worked. Prosecutors also say he misrepresented his employment status to a financial institution. He faces theft by deception and records-tampering charges and has been released pending court proceedings.
