EAST RUTHERFORD, NJ — Here are photos from the world's largest World Cup sticker exchange, held Sunday at American Dream mall, at Rockefeller Center and other locations in Mexico.
The sticker exchange was sponsored by Panini, the Italian company that makes the World Cup trading stickers.
Panini said it set a Guinness World Record Sunday for the largest sports sticker exchange in eight hours, with 4,446 one-to-one swaps completed across four locations in the U.S. and Mexico, surpassing the previous record of 2,577.
Former U.S. Women’s National Team member and two-time FIFA Women’s World Cup champion Kristine Lilly and Midge Purce met with soccer fans at American Dream.
Panini makes the FIFA World Cup stickers for all 48 teams that competed in the 2026 World Cup, with a total of 980 stickers to collect.
