SECAUCUS, NJ — Released by Secaucus Police, all the arrests made in town from July 20 - Aug. 2:
On 07/20/20026 at 9:22 AM, during a motor vehicle stop, Secaucus Police arrested a 33-year-old man David Dios of Garfield, NJ for 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Saddle Brook, NJ in the amount of $550. Dios was further charged with Failure to Advise Police of Carrying a Handgun [2C:58-4.4] when he was found to have a valid Concealed Carry Permit. Dios was able to post bail for the involved warrant, was issued 1 complaint summons and was released from police custody.
On 07/20/2026 at 5:31 PM, in furtherance of an investigation conducted by the Secaucus Police in relation to an incident where a moped failed to stop for the police on 07/19/2026 when signaled to do so and continuously attempted to evade the police, the police arrested an individual, identified as a 17 year-old male of Jersey City, NJ for Eluding [2C:29-2B]. The juvenile was arrested at Secaucus Police headquarters and charged with Eluding [2C:29-2B].
On 07/21/2026 at 6:06 PM, officers from the North Bergen Police Department responded to Secaucus Police Headquarters to take into custody a 52-year-old woman Melissa Prominta of North Bergen, NJ for 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Secaucus, NJ in the amount of $1,000. Prominta was further charged with Possession of CDS believed to be Buprenorphine [2C:35-10A(1)], Possession of Drug Paraphernalia [2C:36-2A] and Receiving Stolen Property [2C:20-7A]. She was also found to have 1 outstanding warrant issued out of North Bergen, NJ in the amount of $200 and 1 outstanding warrant issued out of West New York, NJ in the amount of $100. North Bergen along with the West New York PD released her on her own recognizance, but she was unable to post bail for the Secaucus warrant and was taken to the Hudson County Jail.
On 07/22/2026 at 4:22 PM, during a motor vehicle stop, Secaucus Police arrested a 36-year-old man of Ridgefield Park, NJ for 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Little Ferry, NJ in the amount of $1,000. He was able to post bail, was issued 1 motor vehicle summons and was released from police custody.
On 07/24/2026 at 08:26 AM, in furtherance of an investigation conducted by the Secaucus Police Department Traffic Bureau in relation to a motor vehicle crash that occurred on 07/05/2026 on Rt. 3 West, the police responded to North Bergen, NJ and arrested a 19-year-old man, Walter Pazmino of North Bergen, NJ for Assault by Auto [2C:12-1C(2)] and Driving While Intoxicated [39:4-50]. Pazmino was issued his complaint summons along with 2 motor vehicle summonses and was released from police custody.
On 07/24/2026 at 7:37 PM, during a motor vehicle stop, Secaucus Police arrested a 63-year-old man Juan B. Rodriguez of Hoboken, NJ for Possession of CDS believed to be Cocaine [2C:35-10A(1)], Possession of a Prescription Legend Drug believed to be Gabapentin [2C:35-10.5E(2)], Possession of a Prescription Legend Drug believed to be Clonidine Hydrochloride [2C:35-10.5E(2)] and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia [2C:36-2A]. Rodriguez was issued his complaint summons and was released from police custody.
On 07/26/2026 at 4:02 AM, during a motor vehicle stop, Secaucus Police arrested a 56-year-old man of Cliffside Park, NJ for Driving While Intoxicated [39:4-50]. He was issued 5 motor vehicle summonses and released into the custody of a responsible adult.
On 07/26/2026 at 1:26 PM, Secaucus Police responded to Home Depot on a report of a theft. During the investigation, the police arrested a 24-year-old man, Wycker Arias-Barahona of the Bronx, NY along with a 20-year-old male, Jhon Tenorio-Barahona of the Bronx, NY for Theft by Deception [2C:20-4] and Conspiracy to commit Theft by Deception [2C:5-2A(1)] . Both were issued complaint summonses and released from police custody.
On 07/26/2026 at 4:27 PM, Secaucus Police responded to Walmart on a report of a shoplifting. During the investigation, the police arrested a 40-year-old man, Dennis Suero of Fairview, NJ for Shoplifting [2C:20-11B(2)], Possession of Drug Paraphernalia [2C:36-2A] and Certain Persons not to have Weapons (a knife) [2C:39-7A]. Suero was issued his complaint warrant and was taken to the Hudson County Jail.
On 07/26/2026 at 11:25 PM, Secaucus Police responded to the Union Township Police Department to take into custody a 47-year-old woman of Union, NJ for 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Secaucus, NJ in the amount of $3,000 with a 10% option along with 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Newark, NJ in the amount of $5,0000 with a 10% option. Newark PD released her on her own recognizance pending a future court date. She was able to post bail for the outstanding warrant issued out of Secaucus and was released.
On 07/29/2026 at 1:32 PM, the Secaucus Police arrested a 38-year-old man of New York, NY for 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Jersey City, NJ in the amount of $1,100 with a 10% option. He was able to post bail for the involved warrant and was released.
On 07/29/2026 at 2:09 PM, officers from the East Rutherford Police Department responded to Secaucus Police headquarters to transfer custody of a 25-year-old man of North Bergen, NJ for 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Secaucus, NJ in the amount of $1,000 with a 10% option. He was able to post bail and was released.
On 07/29/2026 at 3:57 PM, during a motor vehicle stop, Secaucus Police arrested a 33-year-old man of Union City, NJ for 1 outstanding warrant issued out of North Bergen, NJ in the amount of $1,000. He was able to post bail for the involved warrant, was issued 3 motor vehicle summonses and was released from police custody.
On 07/29/2026 at 4:12 PM, Secaucus Police responded to the Essex County Jail to take into custody a 27-year-old man of Metuchen, NJ for 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Secaucus, NJ in the amount of $7,500.00 with a 10% option. He was unable to post bail and was taken to the Hudson County Jail.
On 07/30/2026 at 9:52 PM, during a motor vehicle stop, arrested a 32-year-old man, Mergim Balidemaj of Lyndhurst, NJ for 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Sayreville, NJ in the amount of $1,000. Balidemaj was also charged with Possession of CDS believed to be Cocaine [2C:35-10A(1)] and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia [2C:36-2A]. Balidemaj was able to post bail for the involved warrant issued out of Sayreville. Balidemaj was issued his complaint summons along with 7 motor vehicle summonses and released from police custody.
On 08/01/2026 at 9:21 AM, Secaucus Police observed two individuals who appeared to be sleeping inside a parked motor vehicle in the parking lot of the Red Roof Inn located at 15 Meadowlands Parkway. During the investigation, the police arrest ed a 30-year-old female, Imoni Nicholson of Pompton Plains, NJ for Exhibiting a Fraudulent Insurance Card [2C:21-2. She was also found to have multiple outstanding warrants from other towns. She was issued her complaint summons along with 3 motor vehicle summonses and released from police custody.
On 08/01/2026 at 5:41 PM, during a motor vehicle stop, Secaucus Police arrested a 35-year-old man of Belleville, NJ for 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Nutley, NJ in the amount of $550. He was able to post bail for the warrant, was issued 1 motor vehicle summons and was released from police custody.
On 08/01/2026 at 8:31 PM, Secaucus Police responded to the area of Centre Avenue and John Street on a report of an individual sleeping inside a motor vehicle. During the investigation, the police arrested a 21-year-old woman of Lawrenceville, NJ for Driving While Intoxicated [39:4-50]. She was issued 5 motor vehicle summonses and she was released into the custody of a responsible adult.
On 08/01/2026 at 9:40 PM, Secaucus Police responded to the 200 block of County Avenue on a report of criminal mischief to a residence. During the investigation, the police arrested a 30-year-old man of New York, NY for 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Hoboken, NJ in the amount of $5,000 with a 10 % option and 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Woodbridge, NJ in the amount of $2,500. He was unable to post bail and Hoboken Police took custody of the man.
On 08/01/2026 at 11:51 PM, officers from the Newark Police Department responded to Secaucus Police Headquarters to transfer custody of a 34-year-old man of Philadelphia, PA for 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Secaucus, NJ in the amount of $2,000.00 with a 10% option. He was unable to post bail and was taken to the Hudson County Jail.
On 08/02/2026 at 3:29 PM, during a motor vehicle stop, Secaucus Police arrested a 35-year-old man of Garfield, NJ for 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Garfield, NJ in the amount of $1,000. He was able to post bail for the involved warrant and was released from police custody.
On 08/02/2026 at 10:54 PM, Secaucus Police responded to Walmart on a report of a shoplifting. Police arrested a 43-year-old woman of New York, NY for Shoplifting [2C:20-11B(1)]. She was issued a summonses to appear in court and was released.
These charges are merely accusations and the defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
