• Secaucus Police Blotter, Aug. 31 - Sept. 6 (patch.com) — Secaucus residents get a detailed look at last week's police activity, including multiple shoplifting cases at local stores like T.J. Maxx, Marshalls, Walmart, Home Depot, and Sam's Club. Officers also made several warrant arrests, prostitution-related arrests tied to vice enforcement, and charged one man with assaulting an officer and weapons offenses, with all defendants presumed innocent unless proven guilty.
   

• Toll of Commuting: A hands-on look at where the Hudson Tunnel Project stands (news12.com) — Secaucus commuters are central to the Hudson Tunnel Project's promise to cut delays between New Jersey and Manhattan, with officials saying they want to end those long waits at Penn Station or Secaucus. Construction is underway on multiple contracts, including tunnel boring preparations and new track layouts, with the new tunnel expected to open in 2035 before the existing one is fully rehabilitated by 2038.
