SECAUCUS, NJ — Released by Secaucus Police, all of last week's arrests:
On Sept. 7 at 8:07 p.m., Secaucus Police responded to the Bloomfield Police Department to take into custody a 20-year-old man of Cincinnati, OH for 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Secaucus in the amount of $5,000 with a 10% option along with 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Lumberton, NJ in the amount of $1,000 with a 10% option. He was able to post bail for both warrants and was released from police custody.
On Sept. 8 at 6:10 p.m., Secaucus Police responded to Walmart on a report of a shoplifting. During the investigation, the police arrested a 42-year-old woman of Jersey City, NJ along with a 32-year-old woman of South Amboy, NJ for Shoplifting [2C:20-11B(1)] and Conspiracy to commit Shoplifting [2C:5-2A(1)]. The Jersey City woman was also found to have 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Secaucus, NJ in the amount of $1,000 with a 10% option. She was able to post bail for that warrant. Both women were issued summonses to appear in court and were released from police custody.
On Sept. 9 at 9:16 p.m., Secaucus Police responded to the Rt. 3 East Liquors located at 215 Route 3 East on a report of a shoplifting. The police were advised that the individual involved had already fled the establishment. The police located the individual involved in the area of 445 Rt. 3 East. The man refused to stop for the police after being commanded numerous times to do so. The police ultimately arrested a 33-year-old man, Adm Andrews of Fort Worth, TX for Shoplifting [2C:20-11B(1)], Resisting Arrest [2C:29-1A] and Obstructing the Administration of Law [2C:29-2A(1)]. He was issued a summons to appear in court and was released.
On Sept. 11 at 3:54 a.m., during a motor vehicle stop, Secaucus Police arrested a 36-year-old man of North Bergen, NJ for Hindering Apprehension [2C:29-3B(4)] for providing false information to the police. He was issued a summonses to appear in court and was released.
On Sept. 11 at 4:05 p.m., during a motor vehicle stop, Secaucus Police arrested a 60-year-old man of Union City, NJ for 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Union City, with no bail. He was issued two motor vehicle summonses and transported to the Union City Police Department.
On Sept. 13 at 8:46 p.m., Secaucus Police responded to the area of 13 Green Valley Court on a report of a motor vehicle crash. Police arrested a 31-year-old man of North Bergen, NJ for Driving While Intoxicated [39:4-50]. He was issued 2 motor vehicle summonses and was released into custody of a responsible adult.
These charges are merely accusations and the defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
