• Secaucus Mayor Now Wants A 'Pause' On Data Centers (patch.com) — Secaucus residents are watching a major shift as Mayor Michael Gonnelli, who long praised data centers for boosting the tax base, now asks state Meadowlands officials to pause new data center applications. His request follows rising resident anger over higher electric bills, pollution and a recent diesel spill, while a dispute continues over whether Secaucus or the NJSEA controls approval of a proposed CoreSite facility on County Avenue.
