SECAUCUS, NJ — Hudson Regional Health, the town hospital of Secaucus, just announced Tuesday afternoon its birthday party block party — scheduled for this Sunday — is now canceled due to inclement weather.
It will be held sometime in 2027, said the hospital.
It is supposed to rain this Saturday and Sunday.
They were planning to have a 50-foot Ferris wheel in the hospital parking lot on Sunday, plus bouncy houses and more.

Hudson Regional Health's free community festival, originally scheduled for Sunday, October 4, 2026, in the parking lot of Secaucus University Hospital, has been postponed due to anticipated inclement weather.
The festival will be rescheduled for a date in 2027.
The festival, co-hosted by Secaucus Mayor Mike Gonnelli, the town council and the town of Secaucus, was organized to celebrate the milestone 50th anniversary of Secaucus University Hospital.
Hudson Regional Health will announce the new festival date once it is finalized.
Oct. 4: Hudson Regional Health invites all members of the public to a free family festival on Sunday, October 4, from 12:30 - 4:30 p.m. The event, taking place in the parking lot of Secaucus University Hospital (55 Meadowlands Parkway in Secaucus), will celebrate the milestone 50th anniversary of Secaucus University Hospital and is co-hosted by Secaucus Mayor Mike Gonnelli, the town council and the town of Secaucus.
Open to all members of the public and free to attend, the festival will feature entertainment for all ages, including a 50-foot Ferris wheel, two bouncy houses, a trackless train with a conductor, games and prizes, a beer garden, food trucks, health screenings and live music.
Hudson Regional Health looks forward to welcoming residents of Secaucus and the surrounding communities for an afternoon of live music, entertainment, great food and family fun!
