• Six-Alarm Fire Displaces 39 in East Newark; Community Rallies to Help (hudpost.com) — A devastating six-alarm fire in nearby East Newark destroyed six homes and displaced 39 residents, with Secaucus firefighters among many Hudson County crews rushing in to help contain the blaze. With no injuries reported, the borough is now collecting gift cards and coordinating with the Red Cross and county agencies to support families needing shelter, essentials, and future furnishings.
