Secaucus Police Blotter, Sept. 28 - Oct. 4

Here's what happened on Minnie Place Sunday:

SECAUCUS, NJ — Released by Secaucus Police, all of last week's arrests:

On Sept. 28 at 10:36 PM, during a motor vehicle stop, Secaucus Police arrested a 48-year-old woman of Newark, NJ for 1 outstanding NCIC warrant issued out of Newark, NJ with no bail. She was transported to the Newark Police Department.

On Sept. 29 at 1:57 PM, Secaucus Police responded to the Atlantic County Jail to take into custody a 48-year-old woman of Toms River, NJ for 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Secaucus, NJ in the amount of $1,500. She was unable to post bail and was taken to the Hudson County Jail.

On Sept. 30 at 12:37 PM, in furtherance of an investigation conducted by the Secaucus Police Department Juvenile Bureau in relation to an incident of simple assault and child endangerment that was reported to the police on Sept. 25, the police responded to West New York, NJ and took into custody a 56-year-old woman of West New York, NJ and charged her with Simple Assault [2C:12-1A(1)], Endangering the Welfare of a Child [2C:24-4A(2)] and Endangering Another Person [2C:24-7.1B(1)]. She was issued a summons complain to appear in town court and taken to the Hudson County Jail.

On Oct. 1 at 12:14 AM, Secaucus Police responded to 10 Meadowlands Parkway on a report of a dispute between two individuals. Police arrested a 24-year-old man, Maikol Jimenez-Peguero of Paterson, NJ for Engaging in Prostitution [2C:34-1B(1)]. He was issued a complaint summons and released from police custody.

On Oct. 1 at 8:15 a.m., during a motor vehicle stop, Secaucus Police arrested a 29-year-old woman of Jersey City, NJ for 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Asbury Park, NJ in the amount of $550 with a 10% option. She was able to post bail and was released.

On Oct. 1 at 2:00 p.m., Secaucus Police responded to the Essex County Jail to take into custody a 27-year-old man of Metuchen, NJ for 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Secaucus, NJ in the amount of $2,500. He was unable to post bail and was taken to the county jail.

On Oct. 1 at 5:50 PM, in furtherance of an investigation conducted by the Secaucus Police Department Detective Division in relation to a burglary into a trailer located at 925 Paterson Plank Road that occurred on Aug. 8 Secaucus Police responded to Jersey City, NJ and took into custody a 69-year-old man Luis Berrios Cintron of Jersey City, NJ for Burglary [2C:18-2A(1)] and Conspiracy to commit Burglary [2C:5-2A(2)]. Berrios Cintron was also found to have 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Elizabeth, NJ in the amount of $750. He was taken to the Hudson County Jail.

On Oct. 3 at 12:13 p.m., Secaucus Police responded to Walmart on a report of a shoplifting. Police arrested a 23-year-old woman of West Orange, NJ for Shoplifting [2C:20-11B(1)]. She was issued a summons to appear in court and was released.

On Oct. 3 at 4:06 p.m., during a motor vehicle stop, Secaucus Police arrested a 25-year-old man, Mamoudou Barry of the Bronx, NY for Exhibiting a False Insurance Card [2C:21-2.3]. He was issued his complaint summons along with 5 motor vehicle summonses and was released from police custody.

On Oct. 3 at 6:14 PM, Secaucus Police responded to the area of Paterson Plank Road and Born Street on a report of a motor vehicle crash. Police arrested a 21-year-old man of Secaucus, NJ for Driving While Intoxicated [39:4-50]. He was issued 7 motor vehicle summonses and was released into the custody of a responsible adult.

On Oct. 4 at 7:59 AM, during a motor vehicle stop, Secaucus Police arrested a 44-year-old man of Mahwah, NJ for 1 outstanding NCIC warrant issued out of Mahwah, NJ with no bail. Mahwah Police took custody.

On Oct. 4 at 4:28 a.m., Secaucus Police responded to the 700 block of Minnie Place on a report of an individual brandishing a knife. The involved individual was reported to have driven his motor vehicle away from the area and struck a parked vehicle in the process. On the same date, at 11:06 PM, Secaucus Police arrested a 19-year-old man, Joshua M. Mastropietro of Secaucus, NJ for Unlawful Possession of a Weapon, specifically a knife [2C:39-5D], Possession of a Weapon for an Unlawful Purpose [2C:39-4D], Criminal Mischief [2C:17-3A(1)], Harassment [2C:33-4A] and Criminal Trespass [2C:18-3B(1)]. Mastropietro was arrested, booked, issued his complaint summons to appear in court and released from police custody.

These charges are merely accusations and the defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
