Arrests Made In July Armed Robbery Of Secaucus Gas Station
At 6:35 p.m. on July 10, the Exxon located at 209 Rt. 3 East was robbed at gunpoint:

SECAUCUS, NJ — On the evening of July 10, the Exxon gas station on Rt. 3 in Secaucus was robbed at gunpoint, and this week Secaucus Police announced they arrested and charged two men with the crime.
The robbery happened at 6:35 p.m. on July 10, at the Exxon located at 209 Rt. 3 East. Police say three men arrived at the gas station in a stolen Infiniti, and two of the three entered the gas station's convenience store wearing ski masks.
They brandished a handgun and robbed the clerk of several hundred dollars.

Secaucus Police's Anti-Crime Unit followed up on the case and worked with a multitude of police agencies, especially the Elizabeth Police Department.
Taquan Andrews, 20, of Newark and Ramir Skipwith, 24, of Elizabeth, were taken into police custody last Tuesday, Sept. 13 and charged with Robbery [2C:15-1A(2)], Aggravated Assault [2C:12-1B(4)], Theft [2C:20-3A], Unlawful Possession of a Weapon, a Handgun [2C:39-5B(1)], Possession of a Weapon, a Handgun, for an Unlawful Purpose [2C:39-4A(1)], Conspiracy to commit Robbery [2C:5-2A(1)] and Receiving Stolen Property [2C:20-7A].

Both men were in custody of the Union County Jail at the time they were charged by the Secaucus Police Department.
