SECAUCUS, NJ — Here's a unique way to help others in the middle of a busy holiday season of giving back: Donate blood!
The New Jersey division of the New York Blood Center will be hosting a blood drive at the Secaucus library Monday, December 17 from 1:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. If you donate, you will receive a $10 off coupon to Houlihan's.
It only takes one hour to donate, and a single donation can save multiple lives. Nearly 2,000 blood donations are needed each day in New York and New Jersey alone. Roughly one in seven hospital admissions require a blood transfusion, and supplies must be continually replenished.
