Blood Drive In Secaucus Thursday Night, Jan. 31

Come to the fire station on County Avenue from 4-8 p.m. tonight to give blood (across from the Shetik soccer fields).

SECAUCUS, NJ — We know: It's freezing. But don't let the cold keep you from the Secaucus fire department's blood drive, which is happening tonight, Thursday, Jan. 31.

The Secaucus Fire Department will be hosting the drive from 4 p.m. - 8 p.m. this evening at the Washington Hook & Ladder Co. #1 (272 County Avenue, Secaucus, NJ 07094).

According to the American Red Cross, blood supplies drop in the cold weather and winter months, due to an increase in illness and a reduction in the number of people who give blood.
