Ciattarelli To Be At Tick Tock Diner Monday Morning

SECAUCUS, NJ — Jack Ciattarelli continues to make a final push throughout the state as the New Jersey governor's race is coming to a close, with Election Day tomorrow, Tuesday, Nov. 2.

Except for when he was in Hoboken last week, Ciattarelli has made few campaign stops in deep-blue Hudson County, but he's come close: He stopped by the Hasbrouck Heights trunk-or-treat Sunday and he is expected to be at the Tick Tock Diner in Clifton at 11 a.m. Monday.

As he did at the Woodbridge diner last Thursday, Ciattarelli will talk with diner patrons and answer their questions.

This latest Stockton poll out Thursday shows Ciattarelli trailing 9 points behind Democrat Gov. Phil Murphy, which is a closer gap than this Monmouth University poll showed last week, which had Murphy 11 points ahead.

But Murphy famously said last week he's running this reelection "like he's 10 points behind." President Joe Biden, First Lady Jill Biden, Senator Bernie Sanders and Vice President Kamala Harris all campaigned for Murphy in New Jersey throughout October, with Sanders speaking at a Get Out The Vote rally of about 1,000 college students on the Rutgers campus Thursday night.
