Company Thanks Secaucus Volunteers Who Removed Trash

SECAUCUS, NJ — Teledynamics would like to thank these Secaucus volunteers who came out Wednesday to clean the area around their office building, at 30 Wood Avenue.

Every week in the summer, Lynn Kramer, who works in the Secaucus environmental department, holds a clean-up at various spots around town. The people who come to help are all volunteers; they are not getting paid for their time. They simply do it to beautify Secaucus and help improve our town.

"Lynn and two others came out to clean the hill behind our building and Rt. 3 west," said an employee at Teledynamics. "Teledynamics is extremely grateful for the hard work these people did today and last year."

The clean-up this week only had three people: Lynn, Sean Healy and Nora Lazo. Sean is a summer intern in the environmental department and Nora is a long-time cleanup volunteer who comes all the from Jersey City!

Despite the low turnout, Lynn and her team were able to collect an incredible amount of debris, and they might return to the same spot next week. Email Lynn if you want to help out with this or future town clean-ups! Lkramer@secaucus.net
