Ecstasy, $76K Found In Secaucus Car Stop, Police Say
Ecstasy, THC, $76,000 in cash, plus materials to make fraudulent credit cards were all discovered in a Secaucus car stop March 1, cops say.

SECAUCUS, NJ — Ecstasy, marijuana, THC oil, $76,000 in cash, plus materials to make fraudulent credit cards were all discovered in a Secaucus car stop this past Friday, March 1, Secaucus police say.
At approximately 10:05 a.m. on Friday, Secaucus police officer Sean Egan pulled over Bryan Solomon, 27, of Jersey City for a motor vehicle violation in the area of County Avenue and Dorigo Lane, police said. After he was pulled over, Solomon turned over a quantity of suspected ecstasy to patrolman Matthew Ford, who arrived at the scene of the stop shortly thereafter, cops said. Solomon was subsequently placed under arrest.
Solomon was originally pulled over for having tinted windows, Secaucus police told Patch. It is illegal to have your front side windows tinted in New Jersey.

During a search of Solomon’s vehicle, the officers said they found several fraudulent credit cards along with a "reencoder" device, which is an electronic device that places encoded information from the magnetic strip of a credit/debit card onto the magnetic strip of a different credit/debit card. It is illegal to own such a device. Police said they also found computer equipment, all of which was suspected to have been used to facilitate a fraudulent credit card scheme.
Additionally, numerous gift cards were seized with a combined value of over $10,900. Another quantity of ecstasy was seized from inside the car, along with a quantity of marijuana, THC oil and drug paraphernalia.

Lastly, $76,230 in cash was seized from the car.
Solomon was charged with possession of ecstasy, possession of marijuana, possession of hash oil, possession with the intent to distribute ecstasy, credit card theft, two counts of possessing
falsely embossed credit cards, possession of a reencoder device and money laundering.
Solomon was taken to the Hudson County Jail in Kearny pending his appearance in Central Judicial Processing Court.
