Come out every Thursday night in February from 7-9 p.m. for unique environmental documentaries and a discussion with your neighbors.

SECAUCUS, NJ — Looking to get out of the house on these cold winter nights, meet others in our community and watch some interesting documentaries?
The Secaucus Environmental Documentary Film series will run every Thursday night in February at the Secaucus Public Library. This movie series is put on by the Secaucus Environmental Department and the schedule is as follows:
Four consecutive Thursday nights starting February 1 from 7:00 p.m. — 9:00 p.m.

Thursday, Feb. 1: Before the Flood: Presented by National Geographic features Leonardo DiCaprio on a journey as a United Nations Messenger of Peace, traveling to 5 continents and the Arctic to witness climate change. (Running time: 96 Min)
Thursday, Feb. 8: An Inconvenient Sequel—Truth to Power: A decade after "An Inconvenient Truth" brought climate change into the heart of popular culture comes the riveting and rousing follow up that shows just how close we are to a real energy revolution. (Running time: 99 Min)

Thursday, Feb. 15: No Impact Man: This 2009 documentary tells the story of author Colin Beavan, who went completely "green," giving up virtually all of the comforts of modern living — electricity, gas-powered transportation, shipped food and public waste disposal — in a drastic effort to curb his environmental impact. (Running time: 93 min)
Thursday, Feb. 22: Dirt, the Movie: An astonishing, humorous and substantial look at the glorious and unappreciated ground beneath our feet. Dirt feeds us and gives us shelter. Dirt holds and cleans our water. Dirt heals us and makes us beautiful. Dirt regulates the earth’s climate. Narrated by Jamie lee Curtis. (Running time: 86 minutes)
